Python’s Unwarranted Bad Rap

Python is just too slow?

Python is the most popular programming language in the world. However, it continues to get a bad rap because it is slow as compared to more robust languages like C and C++. Even some new kids on the block, at least I think they are new, like Rust and Julia are gaining traction — I really don’t know their performance compares to Python.
